๐ฐ Money Management
Risk Management Rules
Account Allocation
Never allocate more than 5-10% of your total trading capital to liquidation trading. This strategy is high-risk, high-reward.
Position Sizing
Start with minimum position sizes (0.001 BTC equivalent) and gradually increase based on performance and confidence.
Daily Loss Limits
Set a maximum daily loss limit of 2-3% of your account balance. Stop trading if this limit is reached.
Profit Taking
Regularly withdraw profits. Don't let winning streaks lead to overconfidence and increased risk-taking.

๐ Performance Optimization
Key Performance Metrics
Win Rate
Target: 65-75%. Lower win rates may indicate overly aggressive TP levels or poor market conditions.
Profit Factor
Target: >1.5. Ratio of gross profit to gross loss. Higher is better for long-term profitability.
Sharpe Ratio
Target: >1.0. Risk-adjusted return metric. Measures return per unit of risk taken.
Maximum Drawdown
Target: <15%. Largest peak-to-trough decline. Important for capital preservation.
Optimization Guidelines
Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
---|---|---|
Low win rate (<60%) | TP too aggressive, poor market conditions | Increase MQ threshold, adjust TP levels |
High drawdown | Position sizes too large, no SL | Reduce position sizes, enforce SL |
Few trades | MQ threshold too high | Lower MQ threshold gradually |
Excessive slippage | Market orders in volatile conditions | Switch to limit orders with offset |
๐ง Troubleshooting
Common Issues
Check your API credentials and ensure futures trading is enabled. Verify that your IP is whitelisted if restrictions are set.
The bot includes automatic reconnection. If issues persist, check your internet connection and firewall settings.
Check MQ Score threshold, ensure instruments are active, and verify sufficient account balance.
Error Codes
Error Code | Description | Solution |
---|---|---|
40001 | Invalid API key | Check API credentials |
40003 | IP not whitelisted | Add IP to Bitget whitelist |
40004 | Insufficient balance | Deposit funds or reduce position size |
40005 | Order size too small | Increase minimum order size |
Best Practices
Regular Monitoring
Check the bot status and logs regularly. Enable notifications for important events.
Configuration Backup
Regularly backup your bot configuration files. Use version control for settings changes.
Performance Review
Weekly review of trading performance using the Training Lab analytics.
Market Adaptation
Adjust settings based on market conditions. Bull markets may require different parameters than bear markets.
